Glorious sunshine and the clearest of blue skies greeted us on touchdown at Nuuk airport on 28th March 2023, on the first day of WHO’s first ever high-level mission to Greenland.  This four-day visit is an opportunity to listen and learn, understand Greenland’s health system, hear from the health professionals delivering care, and visit some health facilities both in towns and more remote communities.

Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, together with Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and is home to 57 thousand people.
