    Public meeting: elections and nominations In a earlier private meeting, Dr Hans Kluge has been nominated for a second term to the post of Regional Director for Europe. In this public session, Dr Kluge addresses the Committee with a brief statement and receives congratulations. WHO Director-General Dr Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus congratulates Dr Hans Kluge for the renomination as Regional Director for Europe following a successful term which he started just two days before the declaration of emergency of COVID-19.
